Nancy Ancrom

Nancy Ancrom of Columbia earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of South Carolina and completed graduate work in literature at Georgia Southern College. She has participated in numerous poetry readings and poetry initiatives for universities, libraries, arts organizations and churches in New York City, Cincinnati and Columbia. Her poems have appeared in Rolling Stone, The Nation and numerous other magazines and journals. She was awarded the Cincinnati Writers League Prize, the USC Literary Society Prize and has participated in four residencies at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, New Mexico.
