The South Carolina Arts Commission’s Western Piedmont Arts Hub Region reaches from the middle portion of the Georgia border into the central part of our state, and includes:

- Edgefield County
- Greenwood County
- McCormick County

- Saluda County

Our Western Piedmont Arts Hub partner is The Arts Center of Greenwood, committed to enriching the quality of life within the community by providing a venue for exposure, engagement, and education in both the visual and performing arts.
Did you know?
- The Arts Center of Greenwood was a recipient of the 2008 Governor’s Award for the Arts in recognition of outstanding contributions to the arts in South Carolina.
- The Arts Center of Greenwood led the effort to establish Uptown Greenwood’s merchant sector as an official South Carolina Cultural District.

Location
Our Western Piedmont Arts Hub Office is located in Suite B of The Arts Center of Greenwood, at 120 Main Street, Greenwood, SC 29646.
The building sits at the corner of Main Street and Oregon Avenue, next door to Greenwood Community Theatre. Look for the “Arts Center \ Federal Building \ Visitors Center” signage.

- Arts Hub Coordinator – Western Piedmont
Taylor joins the Arts Commission staff from Greenwood, SC. Since graduating from the Lander University Art Department, she has been teaching art and working as a community arts coordinator. Taylor has spent her career creating accessible art opportunities for youth and adults in the Greenwood County area, something she continues as part of the SCAC team.
