The South Carolina Arts Commission’s Pee Dee/ Grand Strand Arts Hub Region covers the upper northeast corner of our state, and includes:
- Darlington County
- Dillon County
- Florence County
- Georgetown County
- Horry County
- Lee County
- Marion County
- Marlboro County
- Williamsburg County

Our Hub Partner
Our Western Piedmont Arts Hub partner is Florence 1 Schools. The Mission of Florence 1 Schools is Students first! The primary goal for all Florence 1 arts programs is to provide high-quality, equitable arts experiences for all students.
Florence 1 Schools is a 284-square-mile area located in Florence County, South Carolina. It encompasses all or part of several communities, including Claussen, Effingham, Evergreen, Oakdale, Quinby, and Mars Bluff, as well as the City of Florence, serving approximately 75,000 people. Florence One is the 15th largest school district in South Carolina and the second-largest employer in Florence County in its category.

Our Pee Dee/ Grand Strand Arts Hub Office is located in the McClenaghan Administrative Annex at 500 S. Dargan Street, Suite 209E, Florence, SC 29501.

- Arts Hub Coordinator – Olde English and Pee Dee/Grand Strand
Julian is a Charlotte native who has a music education background. He previously worked for Bradford Prep Charter School and Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Schools, teaching Chorus and Piano. He received a BA from Lee University in Music and a MA in Arts Administration from Winthrop University.
