The South Carolina Arts Commission’s Midlands Arts Hub Region covers the central portion of our state, and includes:
- Calhoun County
- Clarendon County
- Lexington County
- Orangeburg County

- Sumter County
Our Hub Office
Location
Our Midlands Arts Hub Office is the Spearman Center for Arts Innovation, located on the first floor of the South Carolina Arts Commission, at 1026 Sumter Street, Columbia, SC.
Meet the Team

- Arts Hub Coordinator – Midlands
Gage is a musician and educator, having served as adjunct instructor at Newberry College and marching band clinician and percussion instructor for public schools across the state. He also runs his own percussion studio and has built an impressive portfolio of customer services experience at Sims Music. He received his bachelor’s from Furman University and his master’s from the University of South Carolina, both in Percussion Performance.
