At its meeting on Aug. 20, 2026, the South Carolina Arts Commission Board of Commissioners approved a resolution, effective immediately, regarding the promotion of ideology through the use of grant funding “administered by or received from” the SCAC.
On Sept. 11, 2026, guidance was issued related to the Aug. 20 resolution.
Given these facts, the SCAC is making the following documents available for constituent reference:
