Grants ensure that all our citizens have access to the many enjoyments of the arts. Artists are able to commit to their chosen crafts and thrive artistically. SC students benefit from a well-rounded education that includes arts and creativity.

To ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, the South Carolina Arts Commission has temporarily paused all rolling grant programs, including Arts Project Support, School Arts Support, Accessibility, Emerging Artists, and The Art of Community: Rural SC. We anticipate opening these grant categories following action by the Board of Commissioners at its August 20, 2026, meeting. Updates will be posted on our website once additional information becomes available.
