Artist Bio

Craig A. Siegel, ATR-BC, ATCS, graduated from The University of Georgia with a B.A. in Psychology and The George Washington University with an M.A. in Art Therapy. Mr. Siegel has worked in the public school system for 31+ years as both a practitioner and District Chairperson of the Clinical Art Therapy Department. Mr. Siegel was recognized by his colleagues in 2020 as he was awarded the Distinguished Clinician Award from The American Art Therapy Association.

He has volunteered on the Board of Directors for The Accreditation Council for Art Therapy Education (ACATE), The American Art Therapy Association (AATA), and The Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB) for which he currently serves as chair. In these endeavors, Mr. Siegel sought to help advance the profession for the benefit of all stakeholders: students, professionals, and most importantly, mental health/wellness consumers.

Current endeavors focus on providing art therapy services across a spectrum of populations, clinical supervision, and community-minded efforts to assist in making the arts and art therapy accessible to all.
