Celebrate the resilience and growth of South Carolina’s vibrant arts community

Friday, April 26, 2024 | 7-11 p.m.

Columbia Museum of Art | 1515 Main St., Columbia | Tickets $150

Mark your calendar for the Arts Renaissance Gala, presented by the South Carolina Arts Foundation at the Columbia Museum of Art.

Bringing together artists, arts professionals, and patrons from around the state of South Carolina, the gala will be a wonderful opportunity to join us and celebrate the resilience and growth of South Carolina’s vibrant arts community.

Reggie Sullivan and the Congaree Saints will be the featured performers for Arts Renaissance. Since graduating from the University of South Carolina with a degree in jazz studies, Sullivan has developed a dedicated following in the Midlands and beyond. Adding to the excitement of the evening, Charleston’s Charlton Singleton will join the group as a special guest artist. Singleton is a recipient of both the Governor’s Awards for the Arts, South Carolina’s highest award in the arts, and two Grammy awards. These artists will perform through the generous support of the Arts Renaissance Gold/Entertainment Sponsor, The Jazz Corner/The Junior Jazz Foundation.

Guests who attend the black-tie event will enjoy complimentary valet parking thanks to The Stanley Law Group, full bar service courtesy of Optus Bank, and a varied menu that will appeal to all appetites. Select items, including fine art, tickets to cultural events, and other articles of interest, will be available for purchase through an auction and art sale.

For over fifty years, the South Carolina Arts Foundation has supported the programs and services of the South Carolina Arts Commission, making it the agency’s oldest statewide partner. Now, as we enter our second half-century, we look forward to you joining us as we continue that work.
