The S.C. Arts Gala is a biennial event that brings together artists and other art professionals and patrons from around the state. In 2018, the gala made its Greenville premiere, making it the first time the Arts Gala has been held outside Columbia. The return of the gala to the Upstate on April 16th at the Peace Center will also see the return of both the silent and live auctions. Original one-of-a kind artwork by contemporary South Carolina artists and art experience packages will offer exceptional artwork and exciting group experiences.
Christie’s Managing Director and Global Director of Strategic Partnerships Lydia Fenet returns as the auctioneer for the gala. Ms. Fenet has raised over a half a billion dollars for over 400 non-profits worldwide and is considered the leading benefit auctioneer in the country. She is author of The Most Powerful Woman in the Room is You, which was published in April 2019.
