A lifelong resident of Greenwood, SC, I am the owner/director of Destination Performing Arts Center. I have 23 years of training in various styles of dance, including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and contemporary under numerous instructors. I have experience choreographing and teaching dance to both recreational and competitive students in the studio and school setting. Along with my passion for dance, I understand the importance of confidence to be successful in any area of life. Being named Miss Greenwood High School in 2011 instilled a desire in me to help students, both in group settings as well as one on one training, with stage presence, interview skills, and poise. I graduated with honors from Lander University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. During my time in college, I organized fitness and dance events for retirement communities and fitness facilities, where I saw the benefits of exercise and dance in relation to health and gained experience in planning events, leadership and a heart for people. My goal is to help all students see and reach their full potential.
