Mr. Dennis James Breedlove is an experimental choreographer and performer and is a native of Coconut Grove, Fl. Mr. Breedlove graduated with a BFA in dance from the University of the Arts. Mr. Breedlove is a former member of the SD PRISM Dance Theater Company, and has studied at the Alvin Ailey dance school. His choreography, performance art-work is grounded in the philosophy, and training of the Baptism, a spiritual-nexus lining movement exploration. He has trained with master teachers and choreographers such as Milton Myers, Pat Thomas, Ruth Adrian, Andrew Pap, Wayne St. David, and Sonia Dawkins while studying at the University of the Arts. Mr. Breedlove worked at Club Med in Port St. Lucie where he choreographed and performed off-Broadway Shows /TV revival show American Bandstand, Happy Days, and Fame. Mr. Dennis Breedlove has a passion for dancing and performing, and sharing that gift with others. He is an Instructor that truly cares about his students young and the youth. It is the mission of DJB Dance Theater to provide individuals of all ages and cultural backgrounds, the opportunity to explore and express oneself both emotionally and physically.
