The South Carolina Arts Commission

The South Carolina Design Arts Partnership (SCDAP) is a joint initiative of the South Carolina Arts Commission and Clemson University with a mission to improve the quality of the built and natural environment through design, education, and leadership training. SCDAP is based at the South Carolina Arts Commission, 1800 Gervais Street in Columbia.

SCDAP serves as a creative catalyst for community development through design initiatives and projects. With an emphasis on innovative and responsible design and planning and cultural and environmental stewardship, the partnership believes that collaborative engagement, coupled with design thinking and education, can be a powerful tool for social, economic, and environmental problem solving.
