South Carolina Arts Commission Executive Director David Platts and University of South Carolina McKissick Museum Executive Director Jane Przybysz are joined by S.C. First Lady Peggy McMaster at the Governor’s Mansion to honor nine exceptional recipients of the 2021 South Carolina Arts Awards.

You can enjoy the livestream of the 2021 South Carolina Arts Awards above on any desktop or laptop computer or mobile device connected to the internet. However, some might wonder how to view on a larger screen.

If you have a YouTube account, the easiest thing to do is visit our channel and click the option to subscribe. From that point, you have multiple options that might apply depending on your access to them and/or technical expertise.

Streaming devices*

Use the YouTube app on such streaming devices as those from (but not limited to) Amazon Fire, Apple TV, or Roku.

  1. Add or open the YouTube app on your device.
  2. Log in to a YouTube/Google account.
  3. Navigate to your subscriptions OR search for “scartscomm” to find the S.C. Arts Commission.
  4. Click on the 2021 South Carolina Arts Awards.
Smart Televisions*

If you have a smart TV connected to the internet, it likely has the YouTube app preinstalled OR available through your content store.

  1. Add or open the YouTube app on your TV.
  2. Log in to a YouTube/Google account.
  3. Navigate to your subscriptions OR search for “scartscomm” to find the S.C. Arts Commission.
  4. Click on the 2021 South Carolina Arts Awards.

Viewers with smart TV’s may also utilize its built-in web browser. Simply navigate to this page on the TV through SouthCarolinaArts.com or visit YouTube.com and follow steps 2-4 above. However, in our experience, using the YouTube app is a better experience.
