Art was an integral part of Beth’s world growing up. Because her mother was a musician and her father was an artist, she was fortunate to have gifted and creative people around her. As time has passed, she sees how those influences continue to shape her pursuits, interests and inspiration to create. Beth loves finding beauty in the ordinary, and feels great satisfaction in taking common, everyday objects and scenes and elevating their worth. Art has the power to do that: inspire, reveal, expose and uplift. Whether she teaches a group of students or simply paints for her own benefit, she knows that with each opportunity her art can be the tool she uses to elevate and inspire others. The Smart Arts program allows her the platform to fulfill that goal.
