About

Eugene has been an Artist-in-Resident for over 30 years. Communication Skills is one of his teaching applications. Communication Skills combines the disciplines of Creative Writing and Public Speaking. Writing and speaking are 2 classroom focuses that many students need and fear. But Eugene’s dynamic teaching style lowers students’ fears all the while elevating their learning levels.

Additionally, Mr. Washington teaches Drama Appreciation. The scope of this residency ranges from teaching the rudiments of drama up to the production of stage plays.

All the teaching applications can be applied in person or virtually.
