I do stage reenactments of several African American men from history. They are, (1). Robert Smalls, Civil War Hero. (2). Ernest E. Just, Research Biologist. (3). Richard T. Greener, first African American faculty member at the University of South Carolina. (4). Growing up Gullah, which includes songs, storytelling and a talk about the history of the Gullah Culture. I also do a Christmas stage performance called, ” Scrooge according to Gullah” which describes how Scrooge reacts living in a small Gullah community. I usually get invited to do performances at Libraries, Museums, Churches, Festivals and other nonprofit organizations.
