H. Jerry Morris is a retired educator with 38 years in the classroom. His education features a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Fine Art, a Masters degree in education and an Education Specialist degree, all from the University of South Carolina. He and his wife also ran a photography studio specializing in portrait and wedding photography as well as commercial work. Morris’s work with students in middle and high schools revolves around using the elements and principles of design to create artistic photography. He also shares a collection of cameras and images that encompass the history of photography from the era of daguerrotypes to modern digital photography.
