Lancaster County Council of the Arts enriches the quality of life in Lancaster County, South Carolina, by building a vibrant community connecting arts, culture, and economic vitality through education, advocacy, and collaboration. Established in 1977, LCCA sponsors, facilitates, and encourages cultural, educational and tourism activities. LCCA provides public and community benefits for people of every age and background, reflected in our significant achievements over the years which include Partners in Education with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts; designated Cultural Arts District by South Carolina Arts Commission; the Elizabeth O’Neill Verner Award, highest arts honor in the State of South Carolina; fiscally responsible and stable with well-developed membership and a strong fundraising program.
