About
Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga her love of theater was sparked at an early age while watching movie musicals with her mother. A professional singer + actress + director + educator + mentor, Nakeisha has an MFA in Acting from Penn State University, a BFA in Musical Theater, studied theater in London, and film in Canada. For over 15 years her work as a performer has been seen across national and international stages.She was honored to serve as the first ever “Guest Artist in Residence” at the Citadel and is grateful to have worked with various organizations including, The Alliance Theater Center, Charleston Gaillard Center, The Citadel, College of Charleston, East Tennessee State University, Storytree Theater, and Engaging Creative Minds.
