Online South Carolina Arts Resources (OSCAR)

What is OSCAR?

What is OSCAR?

OSCAR (Online South Carolina Arts Resources) is an online management system that has been used by the S.C. Arts Commission for several projects in recent years.

There have actually been two OSCAR websites:

  1. OSCAR for the Roster
The Roster uses “old OSCAR” at https://www.culturegrants-sc.org/. Artists currently on the Roster of Approved Artists use the system to maintain their Roster profiles and information. Artists applying for inclusion to the Roster, and presenters looking for performers and residency artists, also use the system. Learn more about OSCAR for the Roster >>

  2. OSCAR 2.0 (for Grants) - DISCONTINUED
As of July 1, 2017, online grants management is no longer accessed through an OSCAR website.

The new online grants management system uses the Foundant platform, at https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=scarts. Please update your bookmarks and learn more by visiting the online grants mangement system's Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page on our agency website.

Not all grants are managed online; it depends on the category, and the guidelines will explain whether you’ll apply online or by mail. Learn more about grants >>

Not sure which site you’ve found?

Check the URL (website address) in your browser’s “address bar.”

  • If you see “culturegrants-sc.org” you are at OSCAR for the Roster, where you can apply for the Roster, manage your Roster profile, or search for Roster artists.
  • If you see “scac.culturegrants.org” you are at OSCAR 2.0, which is no longer in use. Please visit the new online system at https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=scarts, where you can apply for and manage some grants and fellowships.
