Arts in Basic Curriculum (ABC) Project
Provides leadership to achieve quality, comprehensive arts education (dance, music, theatre, visual arts and creative writing) for all students in South Carolina.

Columbia Film Society
Community arts organization whose aim is to stimulate discussion and enhance appreciation of media arts in the community by presenting a wide variety of alternative films and sponsoring media arts events and educational programs. The Nickelodeon Theatre is home for the Society to showcase films and videos found outside the commercial cinemas in the area.


Columbia Music Festival Association
Educates, discovers, develops, trains, assists and promotes the performing arts on its own and through its affiliate organizations. Also serves as an arts resource and support arts council.


Guild of Beaufort Galleries
Galleries within walking distance of each other in Historic Beaufort, South Carolina.


Hub City Writers Project
Emphasis on place-based literature that encourages readers to form a deeper connection with their home territory. Publishes two kinds of books: those that educate people about the place they live, and literary works (poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction) by emerging authors in the region.


The Humanities Council SC
Funds, promotes, counsels and coordinates all manner of endeavors that pertain to the humanities, including history, literature, languages, linguistics, philosophy, ethics, comparative religion and anthropology, as well as historical, critical and theoretical approaches to the arts.

 

Midlands Clay Arts Society
Provides both the amateur and the professional clay artist in the South Carolina Midlands region an opportunity to display and sell their work. The group sponsors workshops, demonstrations, guest speakers and many other opportunities to learn more in the field of clay arts.


Poetry Society of South Carolina
Conducts writers' workshops, holds a variety of competitions, publishes an annual chapbook and an annual anthology of prize-winning poems, conducts a local cooperative programs with visual artists through the Gibbes Museum of Art, and keeps members informed of regional literary activities.


SC Alliance for Arts Education (SCAAE)
Promotes the continued growth of excellence in arts education for all children through effective leadership, collaboration, communication, and community action.


SC Art Education Association (SCAEA)
Promotes art education through Professional Development, Service, Advancement of Knowledge, and Leadership.


SC Artisans Center
Interprets, markets, preserves and perpetuates the folk art and fine craftsmanship of South Carolina Artisans while creating a better understanding of the state's cultural heritage.
